Chris is a Managing Director - Legal Assets, and is responsible for investment origination, client development, and end-to-end client support throughout the funding process.
Chris has over fourteen years of experience litigating complex commercial disputes. Prior to joining GRP, Chris was a litigation partner at a leading international law firm, where his practice primarily focused on financial industry and private investment fund litigation, both domestically and offshore. Having appeared regularly before international and domestic arbitral bodies, as well as a myriad of state and federal courts throughout the United States, Chris delivered successful litigation outcomes for a variety of clients in both plaintiff and defence-sided actions, including leading multinational corporations, institutional banks, and premiere funds, family offices, and investment managers. Well-known for the business-focused nature of his advice, clients routinely sought Chris out for early case assessments and assistance in navigating high-profile, nuanced problems.

Long before litigation finance became mainstream, Chris’s varied law practice also involved counseling litigation funding participants on deal structuring, portfolio construction, and the regulatory and ethical frameworks attending to litigation finance.
Chris's legal experience allows him to provide strategic advice to our clients in tandem with crafting tailored financial solutions.
Outside of work, Chris can be found on the golf course and spending time with his wife and Airedale Terrier.
