Patrick Sivertsen
Mr. T. Patrick Sivertsen, joined Global Restitution Partners from Merrill Lynch where he was a broker and Portfolio Manager in Naples, Florida. Beyond his legal and investment acumen, Patrick is fascinated by “the business of law.” It has been the cornerstone of his career.
As an Investment Manager for GRP, Patrick utilizes his experience and expertise to originate new investment opportunities, cultivate law firm and investor partnerships, and manage the lifecycle of GRP’s legal case investments.
For a decade, Patrick managed Partner and Associate Attorney searches for many large AmLaw200 law firms, Fortune 500 Companies, and international Litigation Boutiques.. With both Litigation and Finance experience, Patrick is well placed to service the funding needs of GRP’s law firm clients.
Patrick received his undergraduate degree in History and Theology from Georgetown University, and he was selected by his class to be The University’s Graduation Commencement Speaker. Then he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Richmond as The John Marshall Scholar. In law school, Patrick won the Robert A. Slimak award for Best Oral Advocate in the National Competition for Litigation in Labor Law, studied International Law at Cambridge University, and then he utilized his third-year practice certificate to work in the International Monetary Fund’s Arbitration Division in Washington, DC.

As an Investment Manager for GRP, Patrick utilizes his experience and expertise to originate new investment opportunities, cultivate law firm and investor partnerships, and manage the lifecycle of GRP’s legal case investments
Patrick splits his time between Washington, DC, and the Gulf Coast of Florida. Beyond his love for “the business of law,” he respects an attorney’s ability to change the life of his client. As a Florida attorney, Patrick provides pro bono legal services to his local community in the areas of litigation, contract creation, and arbitration whenever his schedule permits.
In his spare time, Patrick’s interests include history, politics, and fly-fishing on the Gulf, especially for tarpon!
